Lawyers Without Borders is a not-for-profit 501c3 corporation whose mission is to promote rule of law  around the world by leveraging and promoting pro bono service  to meet the needs to the underserved, build capacity in justice sectors and support transitions and development aimed at protecting human rights, all with a neutral orientation.

Our goal is to develop. manage  and support  initiatives in the human rights and global capacity building sectors, leveraging pro bono hours and in-kind support to minimize program costs. This approach has  proven to exponentially increase the power and impact of donor funding. 

LWOB's  collaborative structure that manages pro bono lawyers, or teams of lawyers from large law firms, the private bar, in-house counsel, government sector and non-profit organizations from around the world, represents an unparalleled and unprecedented accomplishment. 

The success of the LWOB model is a testament to the value of the program model that is capable of recruiting, managing and  harnessing financial and volunteer resources engaging all sectors of civil society in a globally oriented collaborative pro bono effort.

Two Positions Available: Program Manger and Program Fellow

Program Manager and Program Fellow LWOB has an available two positions expected to start on October 1, 2017. The program manager ideally will be a lawyer with some prosecutorial experience who has demonstrated organizational and program management skills. The Fellow is a supporting position and should be a post-graduate with exceptional academic record, organizational, communication and writing skills.
